I help my clients befriend intuition, move toward empowerment, and lean into embodiment by equipping them with tools they need to better understand themselves.

My training in somatic experiencing means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing your relationship to yourself. But at the end of the day, you want to know you're working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a high achieving BIPOC struggling with burnout, right?

I’ve been there before….

I get it because I am a black woman who has lived this reality herself. I know that it can become exhausting pretending you have it all together. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you're going through.

Moving you toward healing

Many of today’s solutions for high achieving BIPOC and 1st and 2nd generation immigrants are based in cognitive therapies that do not invite the body, leaving folks feeling disconnected from their intuition and feeling burnt out. I know that your circumstances are unique, so the therapy experience will be specific to your therapy goals.

My Therapeutic process

We examine the relational dynamics that are causing the current stress, anxiety, and burnout, you are experiencing.
Then we evaluate boundaries, systems, relationships that are contributing to the stress/disembodiment you are experiencing.
We will use psycho education as a tool to better understand your nervous system which will help you release stress, anxiety, and burnout.
