Feeling burnout? You have over extended yourself to the point of exhaustion. You show up to your relationships irritable and with little patience. You feel disconnected from your purpose and as a result it’s beginning to all feel meaningless. You’ve lost your spark. 

We can acknowledge larger systems play a role in our burnout (capitalism, racism, sexism, etc). These systems don’t value rest and recovery. They take more than they give and they leave us feeling depleted. You are realizing this is not sustainable and something has to give.

Move toward rest and recovery

Move from burnout to rest and recovery. Life is cyclical and there will be seasons that require a various levels of commitment. Burnout occurs when we do not have rhythms of rest and recovery cultivated in our life. Instead of the crashout happening we build systems that will prevent that in the first place. We will cultivate rhythms of rest and recovery by creating boundaries, noticing our capacity and creating intentional moments of grounding.
